It’s time. It’s time to harness the ability of your body, mind, and spirit to self-heal, self-regulate, to maintain health. As wonderful as are today’s powerful technologies and sophisticated medicines, nothing can replace your own natural ability to repair and heal.
Whether your medical condition just arose or has troubled you for years, you may find that your current medical care falls short of what you need, or even interferes with your healing. You may find you need more time to explain your concerns to your doctor, to ask your questions, to discuss and understand your treatment. If so, it’s time. It’s time to consider complementary care.
It is said that “if the only tool you have is a hammer, then everything looks like a nail”. In that sense, Western medicine can sometimes be heavy handed and narrowly focused. Skilled in several complementary therapies, Dr. Ryan can individualize and fine tune her treatments. Using these approaches, Dr. Ryan views each person as a whole, appreciates the interrelatedness of each client’s multiple health issues, and treats at a more fundamental level.
Too often in our current system of medical care it is difficult to get the time needed to talk to your doctor. Patients are rarely given the time to completely explain their concerns and to ask their questions. Doctors rarely have the time to help you understand your options for testing and treatment, and to explain your test results and diagnosis.
Dr. Ryan will give you the time you need. She will hear your whole history, help you understand the tests and treatment you have already received, and help you understand your options for further treatment.
Dr. Ryan offers several complementary treatments including acupuncture, hypnotherapy, osteopathic manual medicine, medical consulting.
It’s time to change, it’s TIME TO HEAL.

Acupuncture is a form of traditional Chinese medicine used for over 2000 years to promote natural healing and normal functioning. Treatment involves the insertion of extremely thin needles at specific points on your body. Acupuncture encourages healing by improving the flow of energy within the body, and by strategically stimulating nerves, muscles, blood vessels, and connective tissue. Acupuncture restores function, boosts your body’s natural pain relievers, and promotes healing.
